Rail Room Section Leader

SUMMARY


  • Process greige socks to the boarders in an organized, cost efficient manner. Post the correct rates code to the boarder's paper to ensure the proper rate is used in payroll.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Must learn all the greige and finishing styles.

  • Know how to read a rail plan and direct Material Handler according to process flow.

  • Must be able to analyze the visibility report and the greige inventory and process production in a timely manner.

  • Communicate to the Casing Section Leader and the fixers to upcoming style changes.

  • Obtain the greige style needed by dropping it from the rail system and push the buggies of socks to the appropriate boarding machines.

  • Other duties assigned by management are a part of this job description.
