ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must learn all the finishing styles.
Must be able to distinguish and separate 2nd quality socks and rags from 1st quality socks.
Bag all seconds.
Give the Pairer all the 1st quality socks that have been reclaimed....
Snip strings to make 1st quality socks.
Responsible for collecting and weighing finishing rags.
Show boarders socks that can be used as first quality.
Report excessive rejects to Supervisor.
Clean work area.
Other duties assigned by management are a part of this job description.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Must be able to read and write.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Requires good organizing and communication skills. Must be able to make quick decisions.
Good manual dexterity. This is a very repetitive job requiring the audit of both sides of each sock. The auditor checks approximately 3600 socks per 8-hour shift.
Must be able to work under rush situations due to the large amount of style changes.
Must have good vision.
Requires working well with others due to the team environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Regularly required to pick up full baskets of socks.
Requires standing long periods of time.
Occasionally required to lift or move over 35 pounds; talk, hear, and stoop or kneel.
