Warehouse Clerk

SUMMARY

• Keep goods wanded correctly, fix mistakes or hand key when needed, shrink wrap goods and prepare for shipping.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must learn all the finishing styles.


• Must be able to verify production is being processed accurately.


• Pick up full pallets of cased socks with forklift and take to shrink wrap area.


• Wand pallets by customer and style.


• Move by forklift wanded and wrapped goods to a row for shipment


• Count and record the not wanded area daily.


• Bail cardboard and aside for recycle pickup.


• Bag plastic clippings and aside for recycle pickup.


• Clean work area.


• Other duties assigned by management are a part of this job description.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• None

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Must have forklift license.


• Must have computer skills.


• Recommends high school graduation math.


• Must be able to read and write.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• Requires good organizing and communication skills.


• Good manual dexterity and good vision

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Regularly required to pick up full cases of socks or packaging material.


• Walks and stands long periods of time.


• Occasionally required to lift or move up to 35 pounds; talk, hear, and stoop or kneel.
