Job Description:

As a Hadoop Developer with Talend experience, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application development, definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• 4 years of experience with Information Technology.

• Candidate must be located within the commuting distance of Irwindale, CA or be willing to relocate to this location. This position may require travel in the US and Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience in working for Enterprise DWH and BI projects both on-prem and cloud


• 1.5 years' experience in working as ETL developer using Talend 6.x/7x for Enterprise DWH and BI projects


• 1.5 years of experience in working on Hadoop and BigData technologies


• Experienced in Talend DI, Data Fabric and its components, working with different types of sources and targets, well-aware of the Talend performance tuning


• Designed and developed ETL process


• Experience in Unix with Scripting experience is preferred


• Should have strong knowledge on concepts of data warehousing models, data ingestion patterns, data quality and data governance


• Should have strong skills in writing SQL queries, using joins etc.


• Excellent communication, presentation and Analytical skills

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
