Troubleshoot and correct safety, quality, and production related issues.
Improve process startups to optomize production and quality output
Evaluate daily product quality, ensuring processes are within tolerance
Act as a point of contact for resolving equipment, process, RQM, and quality related issues for your assigned work cells
Audit and/or oversee changeovers to assure SMED process compliance
Assist in training of Lead operators as required
Appropriate communication with Process Improvers, Process Techs, Team Leaders and other Management
Assist in the development of new products and processes as assigned
Monitor and track change-over activities and process cycle times
Investigate process disruptions and other impacts to production and quality.
Assist Process Improver in continuous improvement of all manufacturing processes in your assigned work cells
Update Controlled Documents as assigned
Lead problem-solving efforts as assigned
Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations
Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications Required:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables.
Strong aptitude for and knowledge of injection molding processes and related process control and automation equipment. Previous injection Molding Experience preferred.
A self starter with leadership ability, good interpersonal skills and a demonstrated interpersonal ability, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, aptitude and willingness to learn all site systems, and must be flexible in schedule.
Minimum of high school diploma or GED. Preferred Associate's degree in a related field.
Efficiency in Microsoft Office
Six Sigma yellow belt or other root cause corrective action or problem solving certification preferred.
