This position requires an individual who is willing and able to accept and cope with change as duties evolve. Performs administrative duties related to the processing of Section 125, HRA, HSA, Identity Theft and Transportation plans for multiple clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Embody, support, promote, and enhance the BPC corporate culture

  • Provide solutions and improve efficiency by thinking analytically and being solution orientated

  • Serve as the main contact and relationship manager for a caseload of clients

  • Develop and maintain excellent relations with new and existing clients

  • Respond to participant and client inquiries in a timely manner regarding their benefits program as they relate to benefit processing

  • Review participant and client requests and enter information into the software system daily and follow-up to obtain

  • additional information as needed

  • Review electronic transactions and request appropriate documentation as needed

  • Log into the ACD phone line for backup support as needed

  • Enter participant demographic and benefit election information into the software system

  • Initiate activation of electronic payment mechanisms

  • Review and send client reports and participant statements

  • Ability to work effectively with various individuals and multi-task as necessary

  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor's degree is preferred; or Associate's degree with related experience.

  • Benefit plan administration knowledge a plus!

  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

  • Ability to learn other programs specific to benefit administration.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as plan documents, summary plan descriptions, government codes, rules and regulations, etc.

  • Ability to create routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, plan participants, insurance brokers and agents.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with many variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
