The Accounts Payable Specialist requires strong customer service skills and/or ability to enter data quickly and accurately. Depending on the applicant's qualifications, you could be primarily responsible for answering incoming phone calls and/or entering valid and accurate invoice information into Lawson. This position is an important part of a fast-paced department and requires the ability to multitask and maintain composure in a positive work environment.
Position is located in Elk Horn, Iowa.
Responsibilities:
Daily interaction with vendors and divisions to resolve issues and provide follow up as needed.
Work with divisions to ensure compliance with Accounts Payable guidelines
Identify and key valid invoice information into Lawson
Willing to accept other Accounts Payable duties as assigned
Requirements:
Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Outlook. Lawson and Image Now experience a plus
General accounting experience
Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
Ability to be an active and positive team player
Dependable, organized, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple fast-paced projects
Ability to meet deadlines, particularly prior to month end
Strong interpersonal relations and communication skills
