Manager, Data Science for Monster Worldwide, Inc. in Weston, MA

Job Description:

Perform hands-on building and delivering data science solutions using Machine Learning and AI algorithms for a wide variety of Monster's data-driven product features; build and manage complex analytical projects from start to finish, and work with Big Data to solve complex business and product problems using methods beyond causal inference; design data science approach, applying tried-and-true techniques or developing custom algorithms as needed by the business problem; partner with Data Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and software developers to operationalize and integrate machine learning models; collaborate with cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and Sales to build data-informed business strategy and product roadmaps; drive best data-science practices and play a critical role in driving data-informed culture throughout Monster; determine how to leverage data science, machine learning, and other analytical techniques to offer actionable insights internally & externally.

Requirements:

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Information Systems, or a related field and three (3) years of experience performing data engineering, data mining, data modeling, and developing statistical and machine-learning based models or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of experience performing data engineering, data mining, data modeling, and developing statistical and machine-learning based models. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise leveraging scripting languages Python or R, on developing a test-driven, and reproducible code in an agile environment; Demonstrated expertise performing data modeling and data warehousing in SQL-based languages with large-scale and complex datasets; Demonstrated expertise utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Technologies including BigQuery, ML Engine, DataPrep, and Google Data Studio; Demonstrated expertise in developing ML solutions using a Deep Learning framework (at least one common DL framework including TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or MXNet), and in an NLP framework, including Gensim or Spacy; Demonstrated expertise leveraging classification models using Machine Learning/Deep Learning techniques on highly imbalanced datasets, and Natural Language Processing for textual data tasks including Text Matching and Topic Modeling; Demonstrated experience working with a multitude of data types including Google Analytics or Adobe Clickstream (clickstream), CRM, and time-series data sources; and Demonstrated expertise managing a portfolio of data science projects and develop trusted relationships with business stakeholders.
