Infosys is seeking an Oracle Financials Consultant.  The position will primary be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and applying Oracle financials domain and technical proficiency for production support and assist in enhancements. You should be able to create high level design artifacts and detailed solution design lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty, validating requirements with product offerings, working with relevant stakeholders for product customization requests. You will also play an important role in the business discussion interaction and co-ordination with offshore. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology


• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of  Minneapolis, MN or Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate to one of the areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Finance Modules


• Should have at least 3 years of experience in working on Production Support/Enhancement projects


• Should have experience in working in Oracle Financial Modules ( at least some of AR, AP, GL, FA, EB Tax, Vertex, PPM and IEX Advanced Collections), Experience on non-finance modules too will be considered


• Should be able to work along with offshore delivery team in India.


•  Ability to work on Production tickets and manage SLAs. 


• Technical understanding of financial tables and flows -  Ability to create Functional Specification Documents, Configuration Documents, Test planning and test support etc. 


• Prepare documentation to support process, functional, and technical specifications. Work collaboratively with business, IT, and consultant teams to analyze requirements, propose and execute solutions


• Work closely with business managers and users to understand their processes and procedures


• Ability to work with business users in translating / defining system specifications


• Familiarity with the development life cycle and its implementation, Familiarity with global development model.


• Good experience in conducting CRPs, System Integrated testing and UAT support.


• Experience with project management

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
