Job Position: Digital Influence Lead

Objective

The Digital Influence Lead position is instrumental to the overall strategy of Schneider Electric's Global Data Center Systems LoB's strategic marketing communications planning and execution. This role will collaborate to jointly develop and co-lead the deployment of social media and digital influence strategies across our DCS business on multiple platforms. With a keen eye to measurement, this role is tasked with ensuring our deployed social media and influence programs are best in class resulting in increased followers, higher engagement and a greater reach across our paid and organic social media efforts, globally. The Digital Influence lead will work closely with DCS marketing leaders and Secure Power Division global Social Media and Communications team to actively support our corporate Social Media 10x ambitions designed to grow and hone our program to cement ourselves as a best-in-class program across the world.

Responsibilities


  • Owns the management & governance of DCS Line of Business social media strategy, operation, and execution, working closely with offer marketing, engineering, DCS senior leadership team, and Secure Power Division social media team and SPD experts to ensure:

    • content is in alignment with Schneider Electric's Brand Strategy and SPD communications objectives
    • adherence to corporate guidelines
    • deployment of best-in-class programs across our core channels, ensuring KPIs are set and delivered upon.

  • Manages social media accounts for Data Center Systems Line of Business SVP, including content development, review and activation
  • Owns and leads blog strategy for DCS, including the development and management of select business leaders' blogs
  • Provides alignment and strategic guidance to peers in marketing organization and business stakeholders for social media content and activation
  • Grows leaders' social media followers across accounts in close collaboration with the rest of our paid, owned and earned media teams, ensuring we are growing our follower base at a faster rate than our core comptetitors.
  • Drives participation in Employee Advocacy program
  • Supports comms strategy for Tier 1 events leading digital media and influence efforts
  • Performs ongoing and adhoc analysis of social media activities to benchmark performance and drive net new activites across our social media landscape. Provide feedback to content creators to drive a best-in-class program across the entirety of our social media presence.
  • Identifies digital influencers and incorporates them into overall digital influence strategy-both organic and paid
  • Owns the transverse paid media strategy, including social media, in collaboration with communications team peers and global media teams. Paid media will support activities such as Tier 1 events and transverse thought leadership programs for DCS LoB
  • Collaborates across the team to develop and contribute digital content for internal and external use
  • Collaborates with analyst, press, and internal comms teams to develop and execute an integrated comms plan

Qualification and Knowledge required


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 3 years experience in digital media /social media
  • Deep knowledge of social Media platforms and social media tools for publishing, engagement and listening ( Sprinklr)
  • Desired knowledge of SEO practices, Google Analytics, Youtube Analytics
  • Understanding of organic and paid social activities
  • Project management experience will be a plus
  • English language proficiency required.
