This is a full-time position in our office in Bangor, Maine.
The Care Coordination Scheduler:
Plays the integral role in interfacing with caregivers in ensuring the proper caregiver and client match by understanding both the client's needs and the caregiver's skills and attributes as well as availability ultimately providing a meaningful experience for clients and caregivers;
Responds quickly to schedule changes and handling all disruptions to the regular schedule due to cancellations, illness, hospitalization, etc. by finding the best possible solution;
Maintains and updates all client/caregiver schedules and responds quickly to schedule changes;
Communicates new assignments and/or schedule changes to clients and caregivers;
Maintains a positive demeanor at all times while providing excellent customer service and is able to effectively multi-task and pivot in a busy office setting;
Develops positive working relationships with clients, caregivers, and office staff to ensure effective communication;
Demonstrates sound judgment in ensuring schedules are complete and accurate;
Collaborates with the team members and possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills especially over the telephone communicating effectively, fluently, and diplomatically;
Is available to share in on-call duty outside of regular business hours;
Is proficient with technology and software programs;
Three years of experience in a similar environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of experience scheduling in the home care industry is preferred.
