Title: Legal Process Administrator- 74397

This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule-arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As a Legal Process Administrator at John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, Illinois, you will:


  • Prepare and administer annual, quarterly and other complex U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission certification and disclosure processes with attorney supervision, including tracking and assuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining corporate records, and assuring timely completion of filing requirements.
  • Develop complex reports and correspondence for use by attorneys utilizing sensitive or confidential information. This includes anticipating and determining the types of reports needed.
  • Research, analyze and respond to inquiries or requests and assist less experienced co-workers with complex issues.
  • Independently administer receipt, distribution and tracking of documents and data, including file setup and data input, identify and collect related data, deadline follow-up, distribution of appropriate internal notifications, and closure and storage of files.
  • Manage operational processes for assigned attorneys including meeting coordination and expense processing.

What Skills You Need


  • One or more years' experience in a corporate legal environment or law firm
  • One or more years' experience maintaining confidential data
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to structure and prioritize multiple projects and/or tasks
  • Familiarity with various computer programs and applications, both those specific to the department and of general applicability (e.g. Microsoft Office and SharePoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team
  • Initiative, growth mindset and commitment to lifelong learning

What Makes You Stand Out


  • Business process knowledge of a legal department or contracts, financial documents or certifications
  • Understanding oflegal department functions and how the department's work fits within the John Deere Enterprise
  • Ability to conduct legal research
  • Understanding of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission disclosure regime and filing requirements
  • Familiarity with agile work models, comfort with experimentation and commitment to continuous improvement

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Associateor Bachelor's degree in: Business, Legal Administration or work experience in a related field or certificationsuch as aparalegal or legal assistant.
