Two Six Technologies is seeking an experienced Automation Tester to work on an emerging cyberspace program. The candidate will be primarily responsible for helping to develop and maintain automated end-to-end, integration, and performance tests. The tester works closely with the development and field operations teams.

Responsibilities Include:

• Performs software product testing and investigates possible causes of problems.
• Performs manual testing as stop-gap for automated testing.
• Develops functional, end-to-end, regression, and performance tests in automated test environments.
• Detects and writes software bug reports and feature requests.
• Understands, reproduces, troubleshoots product defects and works with developers to determine the best resolution.
• Assists in the planning and implementation of testing new features.

• Minimum 3 years practical experience in software testing and Quality Assurance
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with automated testing and automation frameworks: pytest(python), unittest(python), Ansible
• Minimum of 1 year of experience using Git, Jenkins, and various Continuous Integration tools
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Linux OS

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Python,C,C++, and basic debugging
• Experience with basic database technologies and software
• Solid grasp of technical writing and documentation in relation to software development
• Strong communication skills and desire to work independently in a fast paced environment
• Familiarity with Docker and technologies around scalable infrastructure such as Docker, Metal as a Service, VSphere
• Experience working on and refining software release processes, workflows, and schedules
• Experience refining low-level testing scripts using Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.
• Top Secret clearance

Clearance/Citizenship:

• Must be a US Citizen and with at minimum, a Secret clearance.
