Position Summary:
The CTO (Chief Technology Officer) is responsible for technology development systems, processes, overall software and solution design and development within MultiCare. The CTO will play an integral role in setting the company's strategic direction, development and future growth. This role oversees our overall technology development and technology utilization plan and manages all information technology. They will be responsible for technology innovation, cost effectiveness, delivery timelines and quality. The CTO will also be responsible for providing technical advice, guidance, direction and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures. They will promote the interfacing and control of the organizations present technology and the dissemination of technical information and recommendations throughout the organization.

Minimum Requirements:
15+ years of experience in Information Technology of which 6 to 10 years in a senior IT leadership role, demonstrating operational IT management experience with a sequence of increasing responsibilities in large and diverse business settings

Experience as a business focused, change driven, credible leader in a complex and a large enterprise

10+ years of experience in software engineering, technology delivery and operations

7+ years of experience in a leadership role managing and operating IT infrastructure assets including data center operations, core compute/storage platforms, network and end user computing devices

5-7 years in a senior leadership role with proven track record of innovation and digital transformation through ROI on digital investments

Large program management and organization experience

Working knowledge of core infrastructure services required to support complex business application platforms and architectures

Prior experience establishing or migrating from an "in-house" model to cloud based "as a service" infrastructure architecture is preferred

Prior experience standing up an Enterprise Architecture discipline and establishing future state enterprise architecture vision and roadmap in support of business strategies is preferred

Deep working knowledge of EA frameworks and best practices (e.g. Togaf) is preferred

Previous experience in health industry preferred

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Engineering or related field
Master's Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field and/or or an MBA is preferred
