Turner's Seattleoffice has an exciting opportunity for a Tool Warehouse Manager. This position manages all aspects of the Turner tool/supply maintenance and storage facility.We are searching for aninnovativeandambitiousindividual ready to maximize revenue throughexceptional customer servicewith ourinternal client base. The Tool Warehouse provides Turner Construction's self-perform operations with the opportunity to rent tools/equipment or purchase consumable items needed on the project sites. Turner's warehouse manager oversees overall revenue of $6 million/year.

Team:Reports to Operations Manager in charge of Self Perform Operations. Team will include an assistant manager and accountant, as well as laborers, carpenters, etc.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities*:
Innovate & Improve
Continue profitable operation of the Shop/Tool Warehouse.
Innovate ideas to increase revenue streams.
Continuously improve existing systems, looking for ways to streamline, expand, or otherwise impact services provided.
Source tools and consumables for best value
Manage Finances & Inventory
In partnership with Finance, quarterly analyze the profit/loss of the Shop financials.
In partnership with Accounting, bill, track, and ensure payment from jobsites.
Update and maintain monthly Warehouse Cost Monitor.
Review accounting ledger and track all non-direct costs.
Manage inventory of all tools, equipment, and supplies.
Update and maintain tool rental software system.
Arrange for inspections and repairs of all tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
Jobsite Account Management
Oversee delivery/pickup from jobsite.
Manage laborers/carpenters for delivery and equipment movement tasks.
Assist jobsites in new project set-up, inventory tracking, and close-out procedures.


Qualifications:
Associatesdegree plus a minimum of four years' related experience in sales or inventory/warehouse rental and management, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
Knowledge of construction or related equipment is preferred; however, candidates with comparable industry experience, a strong sales acumen and record of achievement will also be considered.
Strengths: Communication, negotiation, teamwork, attention to detail, reliability, organization, problem-solving, and planning.
Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn new software required to perform job functions.

Physical Demands:Performance of the duties will occasionally require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
