A typical branch office has one financial advisor who meets with clients face-to-face and one branch office administrator who enhances the team's ability to build deep relationships with clients. Headquarters associates in St. Louis and Tempe provide support and expertise to help U.S. and Canada branch teams deliver an ideal client experience. This Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of associates who support our branch teams and clients via phone and written inquiries. The team is a combination of Tailored Branch Support On Call (supporting short terms of all branch levels covering critical work for the in office BOA) as well as Tailored Branch Support New FA (a long term program where Financial Advisors can be supported until they meet the minimum requirements for hiring for an in office BOA. respond directly to phone and written inquiries from our branch offices and/or clients. The critical responsibilities include:
 
1. Department/Team Performance: ensuring successful team performance by partnering with Department Leader to establish team goals, building relationships with associates to create an environment oriented to trust and open communication, and allocating resources to accomplish work in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. 

 
 2.Talent Leadership: Attract, Develop, and Retain Talent: holding each associate accountable for meeting goals, coaching for continuous improvement by providing associates with timely, relevant feedback, partnering with the HR and Recruiting departments of the firm to ensure the most qualified candidates are selected for the role, ensuring associates are trained appropriately, providing support to all associates on their development plans, ensuring strong associate engagement and an inclusive work environment.

 3.Project Management: communicating division objectives and focusing team efforts on high priority actions that directly align to Firm/Division/Department goals, managing department and division projects and programs, applying change management and innovation techniques in order to successfully implement new processes.

 
 4.Stakeholder Relationships: contributing to relationships with critical stakeholders as well as peers in other divisions/departments, bringing an understanding of branch processes and workflow into critical relationships to advocate for the branch and help create an ideal client experience.

 
 5.Market/Firm/Industry Event Sensitivity: staying up to date on internal/external market, firm, and/or industry events influencing workflow and stakeholders.

 
 6.Escalations: Appropriately addressing client/branch escalations.

   
 7.Leadership and Decision Making: effectively managing a team with high regulatory, financial, control/risk, anticipating and analyzing issues and implementing solutions, serving as a backup for the Department Leader.

  Education/Experience
- Series 7 required (Or must obtain within 12 months of hire) 
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
-3+ years' management experience in financial services industry or 2+ years financial services experience along with 3+ years of non-industry specific leadership experience or successful completion of Leadership Development course required.
-A diverse background across numerous areas of the division, firm, and/or industry is a plus. Experience in more than one Service area preferred, or equivalent breadth and depth of Service knowledge, with demonstrated proficiency of increasingly complex responsibilities.
