Do enjoy inspiring others during a workout and helping people reach their fitness goals?  Are you able to motivate and lead during an early morning spin session?  This may be the job for you!

As as an indoor spin instructor you will help lead high energy and engaging group exercise classes using top-of-the-line fitness equipment at the Ipswich Family YMCA.  Spin instructors lead energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes in support of our membership programming.  On a regular day you may provide exercise modifications to ensure the success of people of varying abilities, observe and adjust approach to support all participants’ capabilities, physical conditions, health, and culture, respond to inquiries  from program participants, and support members in achieving their goals. You will build relationships to celebrate the achievement of program participants and ensure returning class participants.

This is a great opportunity for passionate fitness instructors ready to motivate and challenge riders!  Preference for candidates holding certifications from either MADDOGG Spinning or Keiser.   Opportunities for additional group exercise hours and classes available.


  • Current Group Exercise certification with experience and interest in consistently teaching group exercise
