The Administrative Assistant – Construction performs tactical administrative support for the Director of Construction and their team. The Administrative Assistant – Construction works on assignments that are complex in nature and require considerable judgment, absolute confidentiality, and initiative and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or recommend solutions. Work is completed with minimal supervision and assignments may be completed without established procedures. What You’ll do as an Administrative Assistant:
Provide support to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and reporting findings
Maintain daily report on the status and completion of tasks completed on construction projects
Document meeting minutes and decisions
Compile data for reports and being able to produce findings
Participate in administrative tasks associated with the budget process
Prepare/edit presentations
Schedule appointments and meetings
Write instructions and communications for internal memos
Ability to multitask, change priorities quickly and manage time effectively
Additional responsibilities as assigned
You’ll be a Great Fit if You Have:
High School Diploma/GED required, College level education highly preferred
3+ years of general administrative experience, or equivalent combination of experience and college level education
Maverik store knowledge and experience a plus
Attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Proficient with technology, with ability to learn quickly
High level of good judgment and initiative, creativity, flexibility, and responsibility with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy and attention to detail. Absolute commitment to confidentiality
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Organizational systems, tools, and methods: Applies planning and productivity tools/processes to manage work
Priority setting/time management: Demonstrates time management sensibilities when scheduling, allocating and prioritizing commitments
Thorough knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment
Ability to communicate and interact with all departments
