The Clinical Reviewer for Acupuncture will:

• Provide advanced professional input to complex Utilization Management assignments/projects.


• Plan, organize, and manage medical review, utilization review, credentialing/re-credentialing, quality assurance/improvement, and/or health education programs. Serve as a liaison to member doctors, their staff, and clients.


• Analyze treatment patterns and utilization trends.


• Develop and implement clinical review criteria.


• Creates and/or revises medical policy statements as necessary.


• Support and provide direction to more junior professionals.


• Work autonomously, only requiring "expert" level technical support from others. Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures.


• Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within Health Services.


• Position is PRN.

• Require valid and current Acupuncture license.

Experience:

• Minimum of one year of experience as an Acupuncturist preferred.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
