Our Marketing Sponsorships Activation Manager leads in developing corporate sponsorship plans that are strategic and deliver on company objectives. They evaluate and negotiate sponsorship agreements based on goals, objectives and available budgets. They follow outlined sponsorship agreements, in addition to developing strategic marketing plans to expand relationships and business through sponsorships. The Manager will work with a variety of organizations, such as the Cubs, Sox, March of Dimes and Chicago Auto Show, to name a few, as a bank that truly cares for its communities.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage sponsorship activations, as outlined in partnership agreements


  • Audit sponsorship activations to confirm execution of all agreed upon assets


  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for growing business through use of sponsorship affiliations


  • Collaborate with internal marketing groups to execute sponsorship programs in the creation of assets and campaigns, including traditional and digital marketing.


  • Assist in sponsorship evaluations and negotiations as needed


Qualifications


  • Ability to work cross-functionally, think independently while simultaneously managing multiple projects.


  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and creative oral/written communication skills; a high degree of initiative, confidence, and energy to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines, and stage multiple projects efficiently, and ability to work collaboratively with others.


  • Extensive previous marketing, planning and sponsorship activation experience required.  


  • 10+ years marketing experience preferred.


  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
