May Center for Adult Services is looking for a
qualifiedDevelopmentalSpecialistto to make a
difference in the lives of adults with autism and developmental disabilities in
our Day Habilitation center inRevere, MA. The hours for
this position are Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Provide coordination and leadership to individuals and staff members in a group room/community setting


• Follow Day Habilitation and Behavioral Support plans, collect and evaluate data, and write monthly progress summaries


• Oversee and run therapeutic goals with individuals served


• Skill development and community integration


• Assisting individuals in meeting their personal care and nutritional needs


• Behavioral interventions


• Participating in the development of IEP/ISP objectives and documenting consumer progress

Qualifications:

• Previous behavioral experience strongly preferred


• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Valid driver's license and at least 2 years' driving experience


• Previous human services experience strongly preferred


• Ability to lift 50 lbs
