NetApp Accreditation and Certification Program Manager

NetApp Learning Services is seeking an Accreditation and Certification Program Manager to drive the evaluation strategy at NetApp. Through formal proctored exams, this certification program serves to verify and acknowledge acquired skills and technical capabilities of NetApp solution and product users, including customers, partners, and employees. This individual will be responsible for comprehensive oversight of NetApp's technical professional certification programs, as well as sales and solutions consulting assessments and product accreditations, using industry leading best practices to extend and enhance NetApp's defensible certification brand.

The Certification Program Manager will work closely with NetApp's Education Partners, Instructional Designers, and stakeholders on evaluation and badging needs.. The incumbent will manage and oversee all assessment and exam development activities, working with technical and sales subject matter experts across NetApp, in the development of exam questions and other certification assets, to ensure timely publication and rollout of new and revised exams.

Responsibilities

* Define, manage, and evolve the overall NetApp Certification Program and digital badging strategy to meet business and stakeholder needs

* Define certification paths to guide stakeholders on credentialing journeys

* Refine repeatable exam development processes, including subject matter expert recruitment, job task analysis, exam blueprinting, item writing workshops, public alpha/beta testing, technical reviews, and security scripts

* Support certification as a central component to Partner enablement

* Play a central role in creating a community of users, developing advocates/champions of the Certification Program

* Partner with curriculum development to align portfolio content and certification exams

* Drive Adoption of the NetApp's Certification in support of revenue targets

* Ensure the Certification Program is effectively advocated internally and externally

* Develop integrated marketing communication deliverables to promote Certification (press releases, newsletters, ads, etc) as well as internal awareness initiatives

* Ensure Certification plays a central role at summits, conferences and meetups

* Build and manage performance and adoption reports that provide insights into the success of the certification program

* Manage the creation, administration, and maintenance of Certification Assets, according to exam blueprints

* Work closely with vendors that support our exam creation, exam delivery and asset management

* Triage exam escalations, review and revise exams, act on user feedback

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications Include

* At least 8-10 years building and managing technical certification programs, including exam development, production, rollout, promotion, adoption, and bookings growth.

* Experience facilitating cross-functional committees of subject matter experts

* Experience conducting job-task analyses, item creation workshops, question writing training

* Knowledge of modern proctoring tools, badging systems, and certification best practices

* Capability to logically plan and set priorities, take initiative, identify and resolve problems to produce measurable results

* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Exceptional planning, time management and organizational skills are required

* Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

* Positive, proactive and able to advocate for changes and improvements

* Experience with badging strategies and gamification a plus

* Experience with data management, storage, and public cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCE) a plus
