Responsibilities

REI is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage technical project(s) and serve as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. The candidate will prepare project execution plan(s) and identify technical and business resources needed. The candidate will review the status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. The candidate will assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. The candidate will provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team

Responsibilities for Technical Project Manager

    Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner

  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements

  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

  • Responsible for the performance of technical projects in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities.

  • Manages the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.

  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.

  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed

  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.

  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Qualifications for Project Manager


    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field

    • Minimum10years of hands on software, data or infrastructure experience with recent in-depth experience with Cloud Technologies and minimumsevenyears of project management experience

    • Experience in running a custom application development engagement, knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools, and Project to create innovative business solutions

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

    • Proven ability to solve problems creatively

    • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

    • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle

    • Excellent analytical skills

    • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful

    • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

    • Ability to understand high level Cloud architecture & design concepts, Three-tier Architecture, and technical dependencies

    • Ability to track progress and unblock individual via collaboration with other team members or escalation to chain of command

    • Ability to draw-up Implementation Plan for complex IT enterprise scale projects working through several vendors and teams

    • Ability to influence without authority in Technical IT Projects

    • Ability to develop slides and present to sr. managements

    • Familiaritywith Agile Software Development practices

    • Ability to work independently with minimumguidance and collaboratewith greater teams to make progress
