Job Description:

Starting Rate: $15.43 an hour for day shift with a shift differential for night shift.

Work Hours: 4pm - 10 pm Monday-Friday

Location: We have 3 locations in Harrisonburg: North Plant at 2347 Kratzer Road; South Plant at 1025 Willow Springs Road; and Distribution Center at 1433 Pleasant Valley Road. This job is at our North Plant at 2347 Kratzer Road.

As a Forklift Operator, you will:

• Operate Forklift equipment to move materials and/or finished products
• Accurately scan containers to ensure system accuracy
• Perform daily inspection and battery service duties
• Perform all departmental paperwork as required

Previous forklift experience preferred. We will provide you with all the training you need to be successful.

Qualifications:

• Able to operate a lift truck andsuccessfully complete the Division Hoist Operator's Training Program
• Able to read and write English and understand/interpret instructions, count and perform basic math, as well as operate a PC
• Must be able to step up and down from hoist seat level repeatedly. Hearing and eyesight must meet the standards established by the Medical Department for the occupation.
• Job requires medium and infrequent lifting, long periods of sitting or standing while driving lift truck.
