The HUB Recruiter will be responsible for the full life-cycle recruiting process for the Forward Air National HUB dock. This candidate will need to have a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and effective time management. The HUB Recruiter provides recruitment, selection, placement and retention support and direction for HUB staffing. The HUB recruiter will build relationships with local colleges (universities, community colleges, trade schools), military outplacement services, temporary agencies, local job fairs, etc.. to build a better pipeline to utilize in staffing our ORD Hub
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop a process methods and strategies for recruitment efforts to reach and exceed metrics
Build relationships with community referral sources by educating them about the mission of Forward Air INC through presentations telephone calls mail out social media and networking events
Research schedule attend and prepare materials for job fairs that meet our mission to find quality candidates
Act as a liaison between local government offices, colleges, trade-schools, and Universities to build the relationship with Forward Air
Responsible for the full cycle hiring process from application; to processing; to interviewing; to placement
Measure and track the effectiveness of recruiting sources and make recommendations for improvement and efficiency
Responsible for accurate and thorough data entry into ATS system regarding customer and candidate job information notes and details
Ensures compliance with all state and federal laws including but not limited to EEOC ADA FLSA TWC 12
Ability to work independently and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in an employment recruiting staffing related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desire for a long-term career with an industry leading company
Experience using an ATS and CRM system and ability to learn new systems quickly
Must have a personal vehicle, valid Driver's License, liability insurance and a good driving record
Specific staffing experience in the warehouse, light industrial and administrative clerical segments
Strong ability to build rapport and network effectively
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products including; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

Ideal candidate will possess a "can do" attitude with a "will do" work ethic
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced/high volume sales environment
Transportation industry knowledge and experience is a plus
