As a SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE Product Definition intern, you will be responsible for supporting the SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE Product Definition team in their day-to-day activities, special projects, and planning of events.

This paid 8 month internship is based at the DASSAULT SYSTEMES Waltham, Massachusetts office located at 175 Wyman Street, Waltham, Massachusetts with a flexible start. You will work with your manager to tailor your schedule around your academic schedule.

What will your role be?

Test, document, and provide project-related feedback directly to stakeholders

Document functional improvements identified by internal testing

Identify and document areas for improvement

Research, validate, and prepare mechanical, electrical, or structural data for internal use

Help coordinate internal and remote user testing sessions

Help organize and plan the team's activities at 3DEXPERIENCE World, the company's annual, international conference.

Your challenges ahead

Help define the road map for new and upcoming projects while maintaining customer satisfaction with current product offerings

Your key success factors

A rising senior actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or graduate student pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical, Plastics, or Electrical Engineering for the duration of the internship. Rising seniors actively enrolled in an Associate's degree in CAD or Engineering Technology also qualify.

Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Ability to work onsite at DASSAULT SYSTEMES Waltham, MA office in the United States for the duration of the internship

Demonstrable use of CAD modeling software, preferably SOLIDWORKS or SOLIDWORKS xDesign

Understanding of data management software and practices, additive manufacturing, simulation and analysis, and 2D drawings or 3D model-based definition is a plus

Competency with Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Be reliable and professional

Able to work on your own with only initial direction and periodic progress reviews meeting expectations and delivering on time

Have high-caliber interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and motivation

Able to speak with potential alpha and beta testing customers over the phone to gauge interest, appropriateness for the test sought, and schedule of testing date and time
