This position manages and leads a team of professionals in support of FedEx enterprise-wide procurement/purchasing activities. Responsibilities include: strategic planning, review, process/project management development, creating, staffing and implementing the most effective procurement processes. Includes complex negotiations with third parties. Responsible for the development of professionals while creating an innovative and effective organization in support of FedEx goals.

Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in supply chain, business, finance, mathematics or other quantitative discipline. Seven (7) years professional business experience in analytical/quantitative purchasing activities across multiple categories including program or project management roles. A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirements. Proven leadership experience. Outstanding human relations, negotiating and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to interact effectively with senior leadership. Excellent analytical, process/project management skills. Ability to innovate and produce high quality results and procurement solutions on a consistent basis.
