Electrolux North America, Inc., a $5 billion
manufacturing, and sales subsidiary of AB Electrolux, is seeking a Security
Specialist. The Security Specialist is
based at the headquarters for Business Area North America (BA NA) in Charlotte,
NC. This position will primarily be responsible to standardize and maintain the
physical security integrated system (Genetec platform) for the Supply Chain RDC
and warehouse as well as HQ facilities in BA NA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for the administration and standardization of the physical security integrated system processes to include but not limited to:

  • Policy/Procedures and Protocols.

  • Facility Access Control.

  • Visitor Management Systems.

  • Video Surveillance Management Systems.

  • Intrusion Detection Systems (alarms).

  • Security Guard Force Operations.

  • Contribute to the preservation of the company's core assets by evaluating practices, conducting assessments, and monitoring compliance with Group security program guidelines and policies.

  • Responsible for all security technical equipment systems and procedures training.

  • Provide security awareness training programs related to the physical security system integration to personnel to expand their knowledge.

  • Perform and document site protection visits (SPVs), and make recommendations using the Group Security assessment tools.

  • Protection of Assets (PoA) as a guiding basis in close cooperation with relevant BA NA supply chain sites.

Minimum Qualification


EDUCATION &
EXPERIENCE:


  • College
    degree.

  • Minimum
    of 4 years of experience in a corporate headquarters security function as
    well as experience in the manufacturing sector or combination thereof.

  • Flexible
    and able to incur overnight travel as required - up to 30%.

  • Good
    oral and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge
    of security systems - unified platforms, i.e. Genetec.

  • Knowledge
    and application of legislation & regulations in the field of security.

  • Well-developed
    local security related networking skills.

  • Operates
    with the utmost ethics and integrity.
