Position Summary:
The Operator/Information Desk is responsible for operating the main campus telephone system, paging, monitoring alarms, oxygen levels and fire alarms, and alerting personnel of impending disasters, fires and codes. This is a position working under limited supervision. Work situations are basically routine and require strong communication skills, and a service oriented individual. Internal contacts are general in nature and include staff and management throughout the organization. External contacts include the public, patients, families, visitors, and physicians.
Minimum Requirements:
Two (2) years of customer service experience
One (1) year of relevant MHS customer service experience may substitute for experience requirement (volunteer work included). Examples include, but are not limited to--interaction with patients, families, providers; high volume work environments; multitasking
Previous PBX experience preferred
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
High school graduate or equivalent required
