Responsibilities


Sayres is seeking a Junior Program Analyst with Secret Clearance in Pascagoula, MS.


The Junior Program Analyst will will provide administrative support to DDG 51 Project Manager's Representative (PMR) and Deputy PMR at the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Gulf Coast and be responsible for the following:



  • Provide a wide range of executive, analytical, management and administrative support including, but not limited to: coordination of management office operations including management of records, schedules, and correspondence, long-term planning, deliverables tracking, and task management.

  • Coordinate executive level schedules via Microsoft Outlook Calendar to include internal and external program engagements, program reviews, conferences, speaking invitations, and official social functions.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for major program events and work alongside program office heads on program initiatives including PowerPoint brief development and other ad-hoc program efforts.

  • Maintain sensitive program data in accordance with Navy policy and procedures.

  • Monitor incoming calls, recording and distributing messages accurately and efficiently.

  • Establish, maintain, and research information and logistics to be provided as background in advance of engagements, meetings, travel, and major milestones.

  • Organize and maintain files.

Qualifications:


Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:



  • Bachelor Degree or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant and recent experience in a similar setting.

  • Experience working with staff for US Navy or other similar defense acquisition organizations.

  • Must possess strong organizational and time management skills; the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously; exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact and communicate effectively with people at all levels; prompt and reliable attendance; highly self-motivated and resourceful with strong problem solving skills; exceptional attention to detail; and the ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with a willingness to work effectively with a team of contract management professionals.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of an integrated team and where the workload and priorities change quickly.

  • Proficient command of MS Office Suite.

  • Active Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS.
