Job Description:

LPL Financial is searching for a Senior Vice President Total Rewards. This role is a key leader within the Employment Brand Management team and is critical in defining the Company's impact on attracting and retaining top talent by leveraging modern compensation and benefits practices. The SVP Total Rewards is responsible for the strategic planning, design, change management and implementation of a comprehensive Total Rewards program companywide, leading a team of high-performing professionals that are client-centric, service-oriented, and mission-aligned.

Position Details:


  • Design and implement a total rewards strategy inclusive of compensation, benefits and employee wellness, rewards and recognition

  • Partner with Head of Executive Compensation on building a robust and comprehensive Corporate Compensation approach

  • Be an advisor to the business units on compensation challenges and strategies to include merit, equity, compression, and other related compensation issues and provide thought leadership on advancing practices to ensure LPL remains competitive and modern

  • Oversee the process of the use of external data (surveys, benchmarking, reports) to inform decision-making with regard to modernizing our Total Rewards offering

  • Design and manage an attractive and competitive benefits and wellness programs for the Company

  • Keep up with all federal, state, and local compliance, filings, reports, and audits related to the administration of employee benefit programs

  • Prepare materials and presentations for Board of Directors meetings

Requirements:


  • 10+ years of experience in a total rewards leadership role

  • Demonstrated success excelling in a fast-paced work environment

  • Mergers & acquisitions experience

  • Phenomenal analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform and influence decision making

  • A strong communicator, both verbally and written, with the ability to meet executives and employees "where they are at" - expert at keeping clients on the journey for what is changing and why change is needed

  • Strong leader who can develop and lead a high performing team

  • Critical thinker who uses logic, data, and insights to inform decision-making

Preferred Skills:


  • Experience leading a Total Rewards function

  • Experience in the global technology sector and/or financial services sector is preferred
