Position Overview


The Senior Analyst, Total Rewards and HR Operations is a key member of the Total Rewards (TR) team, involved in most aspects of the administration and evaluation of PG's TR program, and a contributor in TR program design, changes, and recommendations. With TR representing one of PG's largest expenses, it is critically important that the TR program be effective, efficient, and aligned to help PG attract, retain, and motivate diverse, high-caliber talent.


This is an experienced mid-level role that, after initially partnering with and learning from other TR team members, can lead and "own" certain areas/components of the TR program. Principally focused on PG's compensation, benefits (health & welfare and retirement/401(k)), and HRIS system; they will also serve as a key contributor in the data analysis, reporting, and communications of TR programs.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Primary duties and responsibilities include:



  • Compensation: Conduct annual merit increase process; calculate annual bonus payouts; administer salary grade structure; conduct/perform external/internal competitive market value assessments; research and analyze compensation-related trends/developments, and participate in compensation surveys.

  • Benefits: Administer benefit programs in compliance with applicable state and federal laws; coordinate/execute certain benefit processes (i.e. LoA, Open Enrollment) and look for ways to enhance; process invoices, answer associate questions; participate in claims analysis; administer 401(k) Plan; work with Payroll to flawlessly execute bi-weekly and other payrolls.

  • HRIS: Ensure organized and accurate highly confidential associate personnel and benefit information in PG's "single source of truth" HRIS system; review and process changes; maintain central repository of associate documentation; run reports and balance/reconcile; identify and execute on process improvements to leverage technology.

  • HR Operations: Execute on TR operational processes and procedures, such as preparing associate status change letters, promotions, transfers, etc.; create tickets and routers to notify appropriate parties; and process associate terminations.


Ideal candidate will have a strong propensity for, and ability to:



  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as PG's SME in one or more concentrated TR areas, such as 401(k) Plan, HRIS, or Compliance

  • Reporting: Prepare and submit/distribute required external governmental/compliance reporting and notices (e.g., 5500s, EEO, VETS, ACA) as well as internal periodic management reporting (e.g. monthly staffing dashboard, weekly claims analysis, new hire enrollments).

  • Communications: Participate in the effective and flawless communication of TR program (e.g. associate memos, annual Benefits Guide, associate Communications/Total Rewards Statements) and associate TR training/town halls.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze and summarize key TR data for management decision-making purposes; interpret and provide relevant thoughts and considerations; create and maintain reporting dashboards.


Qualifications/Education:


Minimum qualifications include:



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.

  • 3-5 years of prior work experience working with compensation, benefits, HRIS systems, or payroll.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Attention to detail/accuracy and strong organization skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to create original content and drafts a plus.


Preferred qualifications include:



  • Major in business, economics, or equivalent; strong demonstrated financial business acumen.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including modeling and scenario planning.

  • Ability to navigate and leverage technology/systems, troubleshooting as needed, looking for process improvements and streamlining opportunities.


Other Special Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:



  • Must be of highest trust and integrity that understands importance of working with highly confidential associate information.

  • May require off-hour availability from time to time, as needed.

  • Ability to work productively using remote technology.

  • Flexibility, agility, and ability to prioritize responsibilities and tasks effectively.

  • The role will spend several hours a day sitting at a computer.

  • Minimal travel of approximately 10% or less.

  • Performs other related duties and special projects, as assigned or requested.
