GENERAL SUMMARY: The Activities Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the day to day delivery of resident centered activities and programs for the Sibley Renaissance Unit while meeting and/or exceeding Sibley Renaissance Unit quality standards.

The Activities Coordinator will develop and lead the community's engaging resident centered activities program of social, recreational, intellectual and physical activities designed to meet the personal interest and needs of the residents.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma required or GED.


2. One (1) year job related experience preferred in senior living communities.


3. Activities or Recreational Therapist Certification or Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) in accordance to CFR 483.24
