About The Position
The Supervisor, Maintenance supervises, counsels, and instructs maintenance personnel with regard to their safe and efficient performance of duties, attendance and compliance with Company policies, directives, and procedures. This position interacts with multiple work groups and crafts to support plant operations.

Key responsibilities include:
* Implement the daily, weekly, and outage work schedules.
* Assign, coordinate, and supervise the activities of maintenance personnel taking into account priorities as set by the scheduler and/or unit availability/reliability.
* Reviews planned jobs and execute required repairs from start to finish.
* Ensure all Worker Safety requirements are in place (i.e. WPA, appropriate permits, pre-job briefings, safety training, etc).
* Work with the Planning Department to create or update preventive maintenance, standard work estimates and parts lists in the EMPRV program.
* Supervise, train and appraise crews in the maintenance, replacement, installation and removal of equipment in the power plant and associated structures.
* Perform additional duties and special assignments as required.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Five or more years' relevant experience (i.e., power plant maintenance, experience in a heavy industrial setting, etc.) required. Electrical Repairman knowledge / background preferred.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Thorough understanding of power plant equipment and maintenance required. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings preferred. Working knowledge of computer-based maintenance management systems also preferred. Must have good decision making, communication, and human relations skills. Maintenance Supervisors are subject to moving between plants on interplant maintenance and other occasions as required. Must possess initiative and an ability to successfully interact with other personnel. If selected the successful applicant may also be required to obtain and maintain weld inspector certification.
