Job Description

Provides Analytic Governance oversight across dedicated teams through data management, across industry best practices, compliance, and contractual needs.

Serve as a liaison to the business delivery teams, business partners, and IT partners to ensure governance needs are met - business rules are defined, operational controls/processes are identified and implemented, and measures are applied through automated technology.

Supports the development and implementation of the enterprise's Analytics Governance strategy. Responsible and accountable for the assessment, improvement and governance of quality and ongoing fitness-for-purpose of the organization's critical analytics products. Serve as trustee to ensure adequate analytics quality is maintained so that products can effectively support business value.

Policy & Standard Adherence


  • Document and help enforce policies and procedures surrounding analytics models, data visualization, extracts, and analytics products

  • Inform quality standards for analytics assets; monitor and report on key metrics

  • Measure adherence to analytics governance policies and standards

  • Work cross-functionally across Data and Analytics (DnA) to ensure alignment with Analytics Governance needs

  • Measure adherence to security and access control and alignment to regulatory requirements

Risk Analytics Identification & Remediation


  • identify approaches for resolving analytics issues to target KPI's

  • Track and manage remediation efforts

  • identify utilization metrics and develop, audit, and analyze statistics and trends to demonstrate compliance with requirements

Development and Implementation of Analytics Governance Strategy and Framework


  • Work with Business and IT leaders to understand value and risk drivers

  • Apply governance and process development principles to drive end-to-end framework implementation and adoption

  • Govern DnA assets and products throughout their lifecycle, spanning from implementation to retirement

  • Drive the selection, automation, and integration of new analytics tools

  • Establish and manage taxonomy content, and tagging efforts

Hiring Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in information management, data governance, IT governance, or enterprise program management experience.

In lieu of a degree, 7 years of experience in information management, data governance, IT governance, or enterprise program management experience
