Come join our new and innovative Mobile Crisis Team! Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is developing a team of Mobile Crisis Team Responders in hopes of branching out and reaching more people in need in our community. We want to be the bridge that carries those in crisis to recovery.  These rewarding positions will be a part of our 24/7/365 mobile crisis team that manages psychiatric crisis in our community.  

$1,000 sign-on BONUS offered for this position!!! ($500 upon hire / $500 at 6 months employment)

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?


  • Respond to crisis phone calls, walk-ins on-site, and provide on-site risk assessments within Vanderburgh County.

  • Complete comprehensive risk assessment, consult with supervisor and/or psychiatrist on-call for recommendations.

  • Provide follow-up and care coordination for clients served.

  • Mobile Crisis Team will provide a presence on-site at a specialized crisis shelter to monitor, engage, and coordinate referrals for participants.

  • This position will be working evening and night shift throughout the week.

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?


  • Bachelor degree in Social Work or a related field of study.  

  • Experience working with mental health, addiction, and homeless population preferred.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.

  • Commitment to improving access of mental health services in our community.

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Candidates must obtain and maintain Welle certification.

  • Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirement, and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.

  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
