***FollowMyHealth Product Manager - Visual Design / UX Focus

Remote Role - Raleigh, NC / Litchfield, IL preferred

The purpose of this role is to take our FollowMyHealth (FMH) platform to the next level. Your initial focus will be on interaction and "deep into the weeds" of visual design! You'll work with the product team to establish good user experience design patterns, good workflows and great interaction. You're the guru of requirements, visual design and general patterns to ensure that FMH is polished and looks amazing.

Our FollowMyHealth Patient Engagement Platform allows over 25 million patients to access their medical information and interact with their connected healthcare organizations to take control of their health. This service allows patients to self-schedule appointments, renew prescriptions, securely message with their providers, join telehealth visits and more via the web and native Android and iOS apps. Healthcare organizations can directly engage patients via text, email or automated phone calls to manage appointments, including reminders, confirmations, waitlist, check-in, and to schedule referrals and appointments to close gaps in care, manage care plans, and receive patient education, to name a few.

Essential functions include:

• 
  Collaboration Work closely with our product management and software engineering teams to ensure that high quality user experiences are integral to our products. Work with product teams and program management to translate high-level business goals into actionable requirements. Meet and collaborate with users and development partners to validate conceptual designs. Provide support with creative collaboration, project coordination, partner relations, general team support and mentorship.

• 
  Communication Communicate look-and-feel guidelines and templates which embody our UX philosophy and goals. Provide rationale behind design decisions and disseminate information to both product and technical teams. Documenting and presenting designs to a variety of different audiences. Break down complex technical concepts into easy, understandable terms and effectively communicate appropriate to audience. Evangelize UX principles throughout the organization. Manage time and work autonomously.

  Principles Assisting in creation and maintenance of interaction and style guides and pattern libraries. Ensure a unification of design across multiple platforms, including various desktop, mobile and web platforms. Develop and evolve a style guide that articulates a consistent design language consisting of look & feel, design patterns, etc.

  Creation Design products that meet business, brand, and user goals that test assumptions through quantitative and qualitative measures. Rapidly and collaboratively devise design approaches that balance time and technical constraints with users needs for efficient interactions in their critical tasks. Translate spoken and written requirements into wireframes and pixel-perfect interface designs. Iteratively designing solutions that satisfy project goals, requirements, and design tenets based on research, design patterns, and UI standards.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree (or commiserate experience) in visual design disciplines, Human-Computer Interaction, Informatics or other similar degree
• Masters degree a plus

Experience:

• Strong healthcare/technology product management expertise that aligns with our FollowMyHealth platform
• Experienced in interaction and visual design trained/experienced in UX
• A minimum of 5 7 years demonstrated success in creating innovative user experiences
• A portfolio demonstrating superior design skills and deliverables from a user-centered design process

Travel Requirements:

• approx 20% - mainly for internal mtgs, i.e. face-to-face w/ development teams in Raleigh, Litchfield, IL and Orlando + occasional travel to client sites.

Working Arrangements:

• Remote role. Raleigh, NC or Litchfield, IL, preferred
