Waldorf Astoria is looking for a talented Food & Beverage Manager to join the F&B team out by the pools at the historic, Arizona Biltmore!

Located in the heart of uptown Phoenix since 1929, this gorgeous 39-acre property has 701 rooms, over 315,000 square feet of meeting space and 8 food and beverage outlets.

Fresh off of a much anticipated multi-million dollar renovation, the Arizona Biltmore is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our energetic team of food and beverage professionals. The primary focus of this role will be to assist in directing the Food & Beverage teams stationed outside among the various bars, restaurants and cabanas surrounding the family friendly Paradise Pool and the newly constructed adults only, Saguara Pool. The ideal candidate for this exciting position will be a passionate, positive and engaging leader with 2-3 years of food and beverage management experience. High volume, multi outlet experience is required, and experience with Forbes service standards is preferred. This position will report directly into the Director of Pool Experience and oversee a team of 60+.

What will I be doing?

As a Food & Beverage Manager, you would be responsible for directing and organizing the activities and services of a hotel food and beverage outlet (restaurant, lounge, room service, coffee shop, etc.) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


  • Oversees a large team that includes servers, pool concierge, bartenders, barbacks, pool attendants and lifeguards
  • Drives guest engagement and service levels
  • Manage all outlet operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
  • Monitor and assess product and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Initiate and implement marketing and up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue
  • Ensure team members have current knowledge of outlet offerings, products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events
  • Recruit, interview and train team members
