Our Development team helps our owners in every stage of designing, building, and managing their unique properties. Owners are able to take advantage of our global, innovative expertise to develop one of the leading brands in hospitality.

What will I be doing?

As a key member of the Development Americas Department, you will lead the development activities for the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Vice President (VP). You will handle communication among local and remote-based Team Members; and liaise with hotel owners, developers, and various partners worldwide. You will be responsible for communication, process management, finance, analytics, graphic design, and organization and interact internally across departments and externally with numerous project partners internationally.

More specifically, you will:


  • Craft, review, edit, and ensure compliance to the latest format for project approval reports, and handle approval processes.
  • Update and ensure accuracy of Board Talking Point slides for SVP Development or others speaking publicly on development-related initiatives.
  • Oversee, maintain, and distribute the SVP and team meeting schedule for various hotel conferences in the US and Caribbean.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with all levels of internal and external partners.
  • Provide support for special projects.
  • Identify and execute process improvements and business initiatives.
  • Support SVP communication across the industry and internally, including among the team and across departments.
  • Build domestic and international travel itineraries.
  • Complete and submit expense reports.
  • Solve problems effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • One (1) year of Professional Administrative experience
  • Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
  • Three (3) years of Professional Administrative experience
  • Real Estate or Hospitality experience
