What we're looking for:

You are a Senior Quality Engineer that has experience with designing, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex software applications. You enjoy working a group of forward-thinking software engineers, architects and management team to design and implement the next generation of infrastructure, tools, frameworks and services to support future Citrix product development.

Position Overview:

Citrix is seeking a hardworking, highly motivated, and collaborative Software Test Engineer to work on innovative technologies within the Citrix Engineering team.

Role Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects and Engineers to grasp and influence product requirements for development of new features and cloud services

* Perform exploratory testing while focusing on various end user experiences and customer personas

* Research and implement industry best practices in agile methodologies to support Continuous Integration development models

* Defect management: Bug reporting, validation and regression testing while ensuring product integration loopbacks

* Collaborating with Field/Sales Readiness teams to ensure customer success by providing technical guidance & consultancy on product deployment/adoption scenarios

* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues from the field alongside DevOps and Technical Support teams for quick turnaround on problem resolution

* Deliver product best practices, KB recommendations, tutorials, videos, 'How do I' articles and blogs to facilitate customer adoption of our products

* Proactively monitor the Citrix Cloud environment; and create alerting and dashboards to assist in the monitoring

Basic Job Qualifications:

* Viewed as having a specialty within discipline for managing and leading software projects. May have broad knowledge of project management

* Requires a University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and a minimum 8 years of prior software engineering experience; or Master's degree with 6 years; or PhD with 3 years of experience

* Experience with virtualization and provisioning technologies

* Experience with cloud-computing platformse.g.Azure, AWS

* Experience working with OS & Networking advanced concepts

* Experience with Windows Systems administration and MS Active Directory

* Experience working in all phases of the SDLC Software Development Lifecycle

* Knowledge of CI/CD deployment models

Preferred Qualifications:

* Windows Operating Systems/Active Directory knowledge

* Scripting (PowerShell) knowledge

* Basic understanding of networking

* Basic understanding of systems architecture

Performance metrics interpretation knowledge
