Overview
Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is recruiting for a full-time Principal FPGA Design Engineer II in Gaithersburg MD.

Responsibilities
Design and development of FPGA devices
Develop FPGA design and interface documents based on the requirement
Perform the design in HDL, function and timing simulations, and support through validation and integration cycles
Work closely as a member of a team to develop boards, circuits, and systems utilizing FPGA or similar embedded devices
Participate-in a multi-functional engineering team environment to develop and integrate hardware, software, and network technology for products and systems
Provide support to the Digital Signal Processing, Algorithm development, and embedded firmware development teams
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering or related technical field
15+ years of experience in HDL coding of FPGA devices, simulation using vendors' or industry standard simulation tools, lab hardware testing and debugging
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in in Electronics, Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering or related technical field
Experience in Verilog HDL Coding, ModelSim and vendor specific tools
Experience in telecom/satcom protocols and algorithms
Design experience with FPGA SoC devices and high speed digital interfaces
Knowledge of Analog or Digital boards and systems, design for high quantity and high reliability
Knowledge of wireless communication system and signal processing
