The Global Security Operations & Investigations Manager conducts various types of criminal and proprietary investigations, covert surveillance, and background checks. The position will record all findings, obtain video evidence, written and recorded statements, and other pertinent information. Additionally, the position is responsible for coordinating and tracking all global investigations and security issues assigned by Enterprise Security.
Essential Functions:
Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
Conduct criminal and proprietary investigations.
Conduct interviews of subjects and witnesses involved in an investigation.
Gather evidence, classify, and differentiate investigative elements.
Complete investigative reports in a thorough and professional manner.
Assist in identifying trends of loss and recommend corrective action to client.
Maintain current working knowledge and understanding of legal requirements in investigations and surveillance techniques and applications.
Function in a team concept environment with both the Client and Pinkerton to ensure all inquiries/concerns are addressed in a confidential and appropriate manner.
Coordinate and track all global investigations and security issues that reach the client's Enterprise Security Team.
Prepare and report KPIs for the client's Corporate Security Officer to be presented to C-Suite management.
Coordinate and enhance regional security teams under the direction of the CSO.
Attend meetings at the corporate level during the CSO's absence.
Testify at hearings and trails, as needed.
All other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
B.A. required or 5 years of either paralegal, law enforcement or corporate, and/or forensic investigations experience can be substituted.
Competencies:
Must be able to meet state Private Investigator licensing, as required.
Paralegal or forensic investigative experience, preferred.
Able to prepare accurate, clear, and concise reports.
Maintain technical skills and knowledge through continuous professional education and technical training.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Able to interact effectively at all levels, including management, and across diverse backgrounds.
Able to prioritize and complete multiple assignments simultaneously while preserving the integrity of the investigation process.
Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
