This new position reports to the Chief Operating Officer of PRS. As the Digital Distribution Leader, you will be a future-focused strategist responsible for opening new avenues to digitally present our products to new partners. You will be charged with the development, implementation and scaling of PRS’ digital distribution strategy to drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Attract and retain new client segments through an alternative digital value proposition
Discover, vet, pitch to and incubate new relationships with partner brands and digital agents through extensive prospect and client engagement
Work alongside PRS’ Product, Underwriting, Claims and Technology teams to champion new platforms which connect with clients through alternative digital channels. These may include digital brokers, financial institutions or luxury brand partnerships through ‘in-path’ and embedded products
Meet annual growth and profit targets for alternative distribution within PRS. Scale offering to drive revenue growth in highest margin product lines
Prepare KPI tracking reports including universe of opportunities, hit ratios and meet financial targets to expand digitally enabled distribution across North America
Over time, build out an Alternative Digital Distribution team as revenue and partnership targets are met to ensure continued expansion and service needs are realized for alternative distribution channel
Effectively communicate results, business needs, forecasting and expansion plans to senior management and internal stakeholders, utilizing strong oral and written communication skills
Independently manage high complexity projects and competing priorities; understand business objectives as they relate to project goals
Competencies/Skills
Minimum of 10 years of underwriting and/or sales experience in P&C Insurance
Proven experience with alternative distribution and digital projects
Very strong written and verbal communication skills and superior sales execution skills
Ability to effectively work independently and with established teams
Ability to engage and present to senior decision makers both internally and at prospective partner firms
Understanding of agency and partnership compensation models an asset
Proven expertise building new partnership models outside of traditional distribution
Proficient with all Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
