Job Description:

Program Manager (PM) is responsible to lead new product development programs following the IMMI Program Management Method and other standardized methods, tools and processes as defined by the PMO, in a timely manner and within IMMI’s core values for products, systems and/or technology. The PM is a leadership role across functional teams consisting of members from all corporate disciplines and will have the authority to form a program team according to the PM process. The program manager will have the authority to specify the roles and responsibilities of the program team members and hold team members accountable for completing tasks at the highest level of quality. PM’s are responsible for delivering target financial and other benefits.

Responsibilities




  • Lead cross functional team deliverables and activities

  • Complete Milestone and Gate Reviews on-schedule, ensuring that all required deliverables and documents are completed to the highest quality level

  • Deliver all programs to meet or exceed financial, timing, and quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Execute programs utilizing required PMO standard tools and templates, including program master schedules, resource allocation matrix, program action items

  • Define program core team members and stakeholders, and hold regular program reviews to ensure cross functional team alignment

  • Communicate program status, timing, action items, issues, and risks weekly with the program core team members, stakeholders, and PMO leadership

  • Provide program data weekly to PMO leadership for integration into Portfolio Management

  • Escalate risks or issues to PMO leadership or Executive Leaders (depending on the severity of the risk or issue) that are not resolved at the program team level in a timely manner

  • Drive continuous improvement in the PM method

  • Present to IMMI Executive Leadership as required

  • Other roles and responsibilities as assigned.  


Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or technical degree strongly preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project/ program management, or equivalent, in a manufactured product environment

  • Capable of directing global cross-functional teams

  • Basic to moderate process knowledge, excellent project management skills
