Position at Assured Information Security, Inc. (AIS)


The Subcontract Administrator lll will encompass all aspects in the life cycle of subcontracting and supplier management including supplier identification and selection, executing NDA's and Teaming Agreements, preparing RFPs, conducting negotiations with subcontractors, building relationships, and managing performance, and administering subcontracts. Training and leading subcontract admins and clerks tasking.

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Draft various levels of subcontract documents in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and practices.

  • Solicit, develop, negotiate, and award for cost reimbursement, time and material (T&M), and firm fixed price (FFP) type subcontract agreements.

  • Determine applicable contract clauses that are incorporated into solicitations, and subcontract documents.

  • Evaluate bids or proposals for compliance with specifications, statements of work and applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses.

  • Analyze cost/price factors for pre-award and post-award actions for non-complex subcontracts.

  • Determine subcontract selection criteria; evaluate proposal responsiveness.

  • Administer subcontracts; participate in program management reviews and other programmatic meetings.

  • Ensure and oversee subcontract closeout packages are prepared timely by subcontracting staff.

  • Prepare and administer correspondence and other subcontracts related documentation.

  • Prepare, organize, and maintain subcontract records and files documenting performance and compliance.

  • Train and provide tasking to subcontract admins and clerks.

  • Provide guidance to technical staff as needed.


Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, or other related field, and a minimum 4 years of subcontract and procurement experience working for a defense contractor or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 2 years negotiating experience including pricing strategy, scope, terms and conditions, and schedule.

  • Knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.

  • Knowledge of Accounting Software and Contract Management Systems.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • U.S Citizenship required.
