SUMMARY

Under close supervision, picks, packs and ships outbound customer orders. Makes boxes and pre-packs future orders. Processes return shipments to add back to inventory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its clients’ proprietary information.


• Pulls stock out of bays and delivers it to Production areas.  Returns stock to warehouse when no longer needed.


• Prepares returned stock to be put away.


• Operates PC or inventory control device.


• Disposes of stock scheduled to be destroyed.


• Performs physical inventories of stock.


• Prepares items for outbound shipments.


• Maintains department production standards.


• Performs assigned tasks in this department or other departments as necessary.


• Power equipment experience is helpful but not required, training is available.

The above duties may be performed anywhere from 0-100% of the workday.

(Employee needs to be able to work in designated department/area and participate, if applicable, in CDS Global’s ergonomic stretching/strengthening exercise program).

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assumes additional responsibilities as requested or required.


• Operates all production and mail processing equipment after training is provided.

EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND LICENSING

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.


• Basic verbal and written communications skills.


• Ability to review data and make decisions based upon specific written/verbal guidelines.


• Simple math skills.


• Ability to react to change and remain productive.


• All positions will require standing for the entire shift.

Pay: $12.25
