The individual in this position will utilize technical knowledge to prepare quotation packages based on the product content and may perform Bill of Material preparation for some large, complex projects with guidance of a Senior or Staff Quotation Specialist. Must possess the ability to interpret customer requirements, match products to customer specifications/drawings and ensures that the quote is technically compatible and competitive by communicating with the Sales Engineer to determine/clarify project requirements. Understands, analyzes, documents and communicates contractual, technical and commercial terms and has a working understanding of bid strategies and market conditions. This individual will hand-off a quotation package with comments on exceptions and built in value for use by the Sales Engineer in customer presentations and has an understanding of the Sales Engineers strategy for the quotation opportunity to ensure quality output. Involved in order handoff process as needed to ensure proper order conversion. Embraces and fully utilizes new tools and technology to improve efficiency.

BSE or equivalent experience required, 3-6 years industry experience. The individual in this position will be knowledgeable on the following products: Switchboards, basic MCC, Pad Mount Tranformers, Dry Type Transformers, simple Drives. Will aslo understand and be able to apply NEC, Equipment Standards and local Codes. Will have a basic understanding of competitor products and must be an expert on the use of Q2C configurators. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with good time management, verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively utilize company software programs/collaborative tools and have the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
