Covestic is looking for Talend ETL Developers.  This role will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of enterprise ETL feeds in support of various modern architecture projects. In-depth hands-on knowledge of modern integration platform solutions, file and database ETL, XML transformation, web services, data security, integrity, validity, and reliability are required at the enterprise level. This role will also provide technical consulting to peers, management, business analysts, technical associates, and will collaborate with the architecture team and larger enterprise Integrations Community of Practice.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and administer ETL jobs to extract data from multiple data sources and load into DataMart using Talend and or any other ETL tools


• Integrate data from different data sources: databases, csv files, xml files, queues


• Integrate data for batch, near real-time, real-time latencies


• Organize data at different aggregation levels, hierarchies


• Write complex data transformation logic


• Proactively monitor the performance of data jobs and tune the jobs as needed


• Make the data integration jobs fault tolerant and scalable


• Perform Data quality, data modeling and database tasks as required


• Expected to provide 2nd level support beyond office hours occasionally 

Required Skills:

• 8+  years’ experience in ETL development using Talend or ETL tools like informatica


• 3+ years’ current experience in ETL development using Talend


• Must be fully proficient with development and administration of Talend Open Studio and Talend Server


• Thorough knowledge and hands on experience with dimensional Data modeling


• Thorough knowledge and hands on experience with ETL Design and Architecture


• Experience in SQL programming and relational database concepts


• Experience working with SQL Server and Azure database


• Thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of data warehouse design and development

 Desired Skills: 

• Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  Experience working at an eDiscovery company, or within the eDiscovery industry.
