Inside Sales Account Executive - CPO at CPO Commerce, LLC

Job Description:

Major Responsibilities



  •             Manage and profitably grow assigned Retail business-to-business (B2B) accounts.

  •             Manage and profitably grow assigned Wholesale accounts (ie…existing relationships).

  •             Identify, close, and foster new B2B sales opportunities / customer relationships.

  •             Conducts outbound proactive calls to assigned customer base, as well as “new” potential customers, with goal of building rapport, trust, customer loyalty, and ultimately, driving incremental revenue growth.

  •             Using assigned and self-generated leads, build appropriate funnel to achieve sales objectives.

  •             Contacts newly assigned customers immediately.

  •             Collaborate with customers upfront to develop solutions that meet their business needs.

  •             Work with CPO back office organizations to bring viable sales opportunities to closure (including sales quotations and negotiating pricing as necessary to acquire new business).

  •             Negotiate (in partnership with Leadership) contracts and terms of sale to maximize company profitability.

  •             Collaborate with CPO Merchandising team to ensure inventory is available to fulfill orders.

  •             Enters customer orders into sales system as needed.

  •             Manage individual sales pipeline and effectively forecast close probability.

  •             Monitor market conditions, competitor product assortments, prices and sales trends.

  •             Reviews weekly customer reports to identify sales growth opportunities.

  •             Collaborate with customers post sale/contract to resolve any outstanding issues.

  •             Performs other duties as assigned, such as (but not limited to) serving as a back-up resource for the Inside Sales team.

Skills/Knowledge Required

  •             Ability to acquire information from customers to drive solutions and meet customer needs.

  •             Strong follow up skills to ensure timely resolution in meeting customer needs.  

  •             Strong time management skills, including ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

  •             Ability to access and navigate MS Outlook, MS Office, and other internal systems.

  •             Self-starter with an ability to work in a fast pace work environment with little supervision.

 


Education and Experience



  •             Undergraduate Degree Preferred / High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  •             2-5 years previous experience preferred.

  •             Proven track record of over-achieving goals.

  •             Proficient excel skills.

  •             Ideal candidate will have experience in retail and/or e-commerce space.

  •             Ideal candidate will have tools and/or adjacent industry / product experience.

  •             Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 


Compensation



  • Compensation for this position is comprised of two components: Fixed and Variable
