Our 100-bed pediatric hospital also features the area's only 24-hour Emergency Department designed just for kids as well as outpatient pediatric clinics including several specialties previously unavailable in the region. Nemours Children's Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses for Dialysis in Orlando, FL. Hours are full time and flexible and will generally be Monday through Friday. Call is required. Candidate must be able to reach the hospital within one hour when on-call. Must be able to perform in-home assessments for home dialysis patients.

Dialysis nurses provide care to both inpatient and outpatient hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients from newborn to 21 years of age. Nurses may also perform plasmapheresis, red blood cell exchanges, and leukapheresis.

Following general orientation, a specific needs-based educational plan will be created to ensure the nurse will be able to provide the highest quality of care to our patients.

Position Requirements

• Pediatric and dialysis experience preferred
• Active Florida or multi-state RN license required
• Associates of Science in Nursing or higher nursing degree from an accredited nursing program required - Plan for obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required if not already achieved
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• PALS certification required within 6 months of hire
• Certified Dialysis Nurse or Certified Nephrology Nurse preferred
